Originally trained in Mendl Creative Dance, she has been studying and teaching Tai Chi Chuan for over 40 years and working with Brain Gym® since the late 1990s. What if your everyday reactions to stress, learning, and movement are shaped by reflexes you were born with? Explore primitive reflexes and gentle techniques for greater resilience and balance.
What if some of your everyday reactions to stress, learning, movement, and relationships are influenced by reflexes you were born with? Primitive reflexes are automatic survival responses that play an essential role in early development. When they remain active beyond infancy, they can continue to affect how we think, feel, move, and respond to the world around us.
In this interactive, experiential session, you'll explore the fascinating connection between the Moro Reflex, Fear Paralysis Reflex, and Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex and their potential impact on daily life at any age. Through easy-to-understand explanations, real-life examples, and simple movement experiences, you'll gain practical insights into your nervous system and discover gentle techniques that may help support greater resilience, balance, and overall well-being.

Stress isn't the enemy — it's a messenger. Move from surviving your stress to working with it, using the Awarification Framework.
Through self-reflection, body-based experiences, and practical tools you can use immediately, you'll move from surviving your stress to understanding it — and finally to working with it. Using the Awarification Framework (Awareness, Fortification, Amplification), you'll leave with one small but meaningful action to take forward.
Inalize combines study across teaching, kinesiology (Brain Gym® facilitator and instructor since 1998, Touch for Health), and coaching (NeuroLeadership Institute, Gallup Strengths). Her Awarification Framework amplifies strengths that transform lack into healing, growth, and authentic agency.
Neuroscience reveals the cerebellum's role in emotional regulation — not just movement. Experience explorations that support re-regulation.
When we feel threatened, our movement changes; when we feel safe, it changes again. The cerebellum integrates emotional input and shapes how it's expressed through posture, timing, coordination, and relational presence — bridging primitive survival and social survival. This session offers a unifying lens: many emotional pathways, one organising movement system.

The truth is we all cause harm — and every time we hide from accountability, we're allowing it to continue. Talking about harm isn't comfortable, but it's necessary for healing.
The truth is we all cause harm. And every time we hide from accountability in our own lives or in connection to those around us, we're allowing harm to continue. In this session we will expand our capacity for discomfort, because talking about harm isn't comfortable, but it's necessary for healing. The good news: when we expand our capacity for discomfort we also expand our capacity for joy and authentic communal connection.
Kelsey will share her own journey of becoming aware of the harm in the wellness world and her role in perpetuating that harm. She will also share tools and resources to help our bodies process the harm we're witnessing and experiencing and to help us expand our capacity to navigate, face and take accountability for harm.

Kari Coady received her master's degree in teaching from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois, and began her career as a teacher in Ojai, California. A Brain Gym® class she attended a few years later changed the course of her life — within six months, she became a Licensed Brain Gym® Instructor/Consultant, left teaching, and opened her own business, spending several years leading workshops, facilitating private sessions, and speaking. In 2007, Kari's passion for helping others and her commitment to effective stress-management tools led her to accept the ED/CEO position at what is now Breakthroughs International. She has since continued to serve and support the organization's international community, empowering others to thrive amidst life's challenges. Kari also continues to enjoy speaking engagements and facilitating trainings, staying connected to the hands-on work that first inspired her. Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and their beloved pups. She also serves as a board member for the SBC Animal Care Foundation, supporting the organization's animal welfare efforts.
Burnout and chronic stress as signals of a disrupted inner rhythm. How resilience emerges when longing, bonding, orientation, and confidence are integrated.
This presentation explores burnout, overwhelm, and chronic stress as signals of a disrupted inner rhythm rather than isolated problems. Human beings are designed for a natural balance between engagement, connection, and reconnection with ourselves, which supports regulation and resilience. When this rhythm is interrupted, the nervous system loses stability, often resulting in exhaustion and disconnection.
Drawing on principles of human development, the talk highlights how resilience emerges when the four fundamental components of life — longing, bonding, orientation, and confidence — are integrated. An extract from the Relationship Reflexes workshop series of Developmental Kinesiology (DevKi).
