My Bachelor’s Degree in Dance was the beginning of my journey into movement as a healing modality. I received my licensure as a Brain Gym® Instructor/Consultant in 1994 and my Master Practitioner of NLP in 1992, when I established my full time private practice, Highpoint Mind & Movement, in Flagstaff, Arizona.
I work with children, teens, and adults for learning and achievement, balance and stability, healing from trauma, and revitalizing their life in general.
With Brain Gym® as the foundation of my work, I incorporate a variety of techniques and methods into my private sessions and my classes for balance and brain injury: infant reflex inhibition, Vision Circles, the Building Block Activities from Movement Based Learning, Touch For Health, lymphatic massage, Tai Chi, Yoga, Qi Gong, breath, and sound.
I stay current with research in brain science as it continues to validate movement therapy and body-centered approaches to health and healing.
